Breakfast Apple Buns!

Epic breakfast combination of cinnamon rolls and apple pie filling!

**IMPORTANT**
Do not bake for the time/temperature on the cinnamon bun can -- it is not enough.

Ingredient List:

Steps:

  1. Grease oven safe baking dish/pan.
  2. Open Pillsbury Grands! can. Set aside icing for later use.
  3. Cut up the buns into 6-9 pieces per bun. see image 1
  4. Mix cut up buns with the apple pie filling. Either in the dish you prepared, or in a mixing bowl. You decide how many dirty dishes you want. I've done both, no advantage to a side hoe.
  5. However it got there, level out your mixture in the baking dish. see image 2
  6. Cook at 325 Β°F for 25 mins. see image 3
    Cook at 450 Β°F for 20 mins. see image 4
    Cook at 350 Β°F for 45 mins.
    This produced a thoroughly cooked, but blacked top. I think I will try the same temp, but cook with a lid on.
  7. Once removed from oven, spead icing from cinnamon buns on top of the Breakfast Apple Buns and let it melt.
  8. Serve with serving spoon, onto a bowl or lunch plate.
